Dry-ice blasting
Dry-ice blasting refers to the propulsion of pellets (solid grains with a size of 3 mm) of dry ice under high pressure. In addition to cleaning the surface treated, a disinfecting process also occurs. The disinfecting occurs by the mechanical effect of the ice granules and by the physical effect of the sublimation of the CO2.
